Step 5. Select Drive from the navigating page to download your route. As the route is being downloaded, you will begin to receive navigation instructions and your immediate position will be displayed on the screen. When you reach your destination, a map of the area is automatically displayed.
pedestrian guidance
Pedestrian maps are great and can be used when out and about to download maps to street addresses, places and businesses.
With pedestrian maps you will use the best walking route possible, ignoring restrictions on cars and making use of pedestrian only footpaths.
Step 2. Unlike in-car navigation maps, you do not need to have a GPS position fix when using pedestrian maps and will be prompted to enter a start point.
Step 3. Once the route is has been downloaded, a series of maps will be displayed.
traffic information
Traffic information comes standard with our mapping coverage.
The Navigation screen will display an icon when there is traffic ahead on your route. While driving through traffic, the route is marked with yellow arrows.
By selecting Traffic report, you can view a detailed list of the traffic events along your route. Any map you view will show all traffic events in the displayed area.
safety cameras
Safety cameras are an add-on feature that does not come standard with the mapping coverage and any existing customers wishing to upgrade may do so online.
Once your activation code that includes safety cameras has been entered into the software, please go from the main menu options - settings and ensure the safety camera tick box is checked.
